Corporate Quality Control Manager
Rob joined DMC in 2017, and as Corporate Quality Control Manager, he sets, negotiates and agrees on in-house Quality procedures, standards and specifications. He actively evaluates customer requirements and ensures that these are met by managing the Quality and welding engineering at on-going construction projects. He works with Project Managers to review Quality Control (QC) requirements, and coordinates QC staffing for the project. He is responsible for training and auditing QC inspectors while maintaining welder qualifications and continuity reports. He verifies proper use of DMC welding procedures, determining and procuring NDE, PWHT and other QC testing & inspection needs, as well as overseeing DMC’s ASME Code Stamp program.
Rob attended Austin Peay State University and is a Six Sigma Training Black Belt. He is a certified American Welding Society Welding Inspector, an American Galvanizer Association Inspector, and an ANSI/AISC Chapter N Qualified Bolt Inspector. He possesses CAWI, NACE Level 1, NBIC Repairs and Alterations, and AISC/RCSC Inspection Certifications. Rob has successfully completed BIC Part 3 Repairs and Alterations and ASNT Level II and is a ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
